These photos from the Fruit Ridge area of Kenty County in Michigan show a very unusual sight.
These ghost apples are totally natural and not edited in any way.
Ghost apples are made during a harsh winter where rain is driven by winds onto a rotting apple.
The rain freezes on the apple to coat it in a layer of ice.
Eventually, the rotten apple falls through the bottom and you’re left with a ghost apple.
A rare and beautiful occurrence.
